Looking for RPers for Terminator RPG

So I'm obsessed with The Terminator series (more so the first two). I'm gonna GM a Terminator RPG. If anyone is interested, post on here. Just wanna see how many people are interested. Should be pretty fun. Probably going to do it on a bulletin board.

Slight issue. Do you know how hard it is to kill a Terminator in those two movies? Only in the fourth do we see Terminators actually able to be killed by regular humans.

Oh and Quinn, in Terminator 2, we saw a lot of terminators killed by humans in the beginnng of the movie. It's just that the Terminators were doing a good job killing the humans, also.

Well gotta take note, the early terminators aren't as strong, and the weapons are only getting stronger each time. So if you had a later type a terminator bein shot at by earlier guns. Well it's like throwin rocks at a man in a full suit of armor. It's possible, you have my interest, but only if it's managed correctly.

I'm in. I just finished the Terminator Salvation PC video game. It was OK, definately made for consoles though. Like Morse said about the weapons and the first T's. You need AP rounds or big bore snipers/anti-material rifles in .50 cal or the 20mm. Also in one of the old series comics it had an old man who said something about aiming for the knees and elbows also something about using a .45-70 rifle. Or get a hold of one of those 40 watt plasma rifles, burns right through their metal exo-skeleton.

That is pretty much what you need. But the first two movies, you don't exactly have access to that sort of hardware. Which makes me iffy on the whole thing.

I'm all for joining the Resistance though. Even have an armband.

They aren't that hard if you use military grade weaponry but with the bombs that fell, they were targetted at militry bases I think and large population centers so it's hard to get them. Also with SkyNet on the offensive, the Resistance has a hard time with making manufacturing plants and keeping them running and supplied with needed raw materials I'd think. But the Resistance does have some advanced weaponry that they get by doing hit and run operations against SkyNet facilities.

In the PC game Terminator Salvation: RPGs destroy almost every Terminator with one shot. The GL takes 2 direct hits but sometimes you get a lucky one. The M4, 1 to 2 clips unless you can target the batteries then it takes less, doesn't state the ammo but I believe it's AP. The shotgun is good for the little aerial ones, otherwise it's pretty useless. Stationary .50's take down all but the HK tank.

I'm reading Terminator Salvation From the Ashes by Timothy Zahn, Prequel to the 4th movie.

Also The Sarah Connors Chronicles #2 DVD set comes out next month in the US. I can't wait as I missed some of the episodes.

I gave up on the TV series after the 2nd series. As zillions of terminators kept coming back from the future, it just started getting silly.

Yeah D. Also one thing I don't understand is if only flesh/living orgasms can come back but terminators can with flesh over metal skeletons. Why can't they just wrap a bunch of plasma rifles in some live skin grown in vats and send them back.
