Due to lack of time and interest (on my part that is!) I'm discontinuing this idea.  Instead I'm going to do something else.  I'll post it up and you all can read through it.

Aw, and here I just read through, and immidately thought I'd try the Honda Autonomous Projects Division. (Ah, Japaneese and their humanoid robots!)

They are trying to take over the world!  Prepare your anti robot defences!

On a slightly less hysterical note, I'm looking forward to seeing what exo skeletons that Honda can come up with.  I'm pretty sure that I saw an article in Wikipedia about some Japanese firm developing an exoskeleton suit to help in looking after old people.

Now that's a pretty good idea I thought having some kind of robotic helper, right up until it held you hostage in your own house ala I, Robot!

damn..i just read through pages 1 and 2 have even managed to get a situation were it is easy to get the us special forces involved, (australian/us joint defence base in alice springs already has us forces and its own air base.) and i find that it has been put on hold..shame because it sounded great.

De Oppresso Liber friend Eyeball. I went through about a week of pre-training screening for Special Forces and never made it. Lol. Guess i'll always be a baby Ranger.  :(
