Ward heard Petrova over the communications' and ignored his comment. He did not have time to make a comment while he was attempting to save a fellow Marine's life. He kept trying to pull the resin off and then looked back at the Marine's.

"Not to rush, but any day now would be nice. I can't pull this stuff off on my own. It's rooted in too deep for just me. Quinn, you look like a tough guy, wanna help out?" Ward inquired, though his voice may have sounded like he was cracking a joke, he was speaking in all seriousness."

((OOC: Okay, I edited it so it was Quinn.))

Eric was shocked to hear that they had found a marine in there. It was one of the guys they had lost, maybe one from his squad! He thought quickly about whether anyone out there had been in the group when they lost all the old new guys. Screaming Eagle would probably have known them, so he clicked his comms on. "Eagle, do you recognize him?"
"As for the rest of you. Show some fucking discipline, and pride for the Corps. Or am I going to have to bust some goddamn heads?" Morrison didn't raise his voice, but if need be, he would follow through on his offer "Now, ladies and germs, we are going to get out of here. Reverse formation, keep your eyes open, and move it, Marines."
Fox looked alive. He covered the rear. As the marines began pulling out, he pulled out his detonator, and he glanced at it before putting it away. "Its your call when i light this whole place up."

Quinn responded by walking up to the man and pulled out his service combat knife. He reversed the hilt and raised the blade. For a moment, it appeared he was going to stab the Marine in the cocoon, but instead he began sawing at the resin holding the Marine captive.

When he fell into Quinn's arms, he let him down and made a quick medical check. "His heart rate is up, along with his blood pressure. I'll need a full lab to know anything else."

"Well, at least he's alive." Ward said, relieved.

He could not believe he did not thing about using his K-Bar knife. It would have probably made his job much easier. Though, he shrugged off the thought and aimed his Pulse Rifle at no one in particular. He kept his eyesight on the mist that surrounded them. He had the feeling something evil lurked within the confines of the mist. He only hoped they either found other survivors or extracted. He despised the place they were standing in more than anyone could possibly fathom.

As the marines organized to withdraw, Tyler took up the group's rear and covered his comrades. He stood with his Pulse rifle at the ready, while he held his tracker in the hand he was simultaneously gripping the fore grip of his rifle.

He briefly looked back, trying to see if he could recognize the marine that they had pulled off the wall. But he couldn't see the man's face.

Tyler went back to covering the rear. The clattering of something moving around in the dark made him feel uneasy. They didn't sound like the regular xenos. It seemed to him that they were dealing with some other kind of xenomorph that he had yet to encounter.

Morse seemed to have no choice but to get up now. They were all comming back, so Morse, stood up. He picked up his M41A, and looked out over the barricade. The flares were still shining brightly in the tunnel. His weapon wasn't aimed forward, he just was holding it down. But the point was they would be leaving very shortly

Looks like were finally gonna bug the hell outa here

"Not a moment too soon, either" Erik said, still scanning the area. He really... really did not want to have the aliens jump him while he was distracted. He was scared shitless, that is not a bad thing though, it made Schrodder more alert.

Simovic had just finished receiving an update from the dropship when Screaming Eagles message came through on the comms. "Just got word back from Honeysett, thats a negative all other MIA's have flat lined".

He then grabbed his Rifle and went into a firing stance propping his weapon over the barricade. "OK Marines look lively we have friendlies incoming any second, they may or may not have brought company..."

"Roger." Ward said, than formed up tighter with his group.

Ward kept his eyes looking forward straight forward. He was attempting to locate anything out of the ordinary, something that was nearly impossible in the dense mist that had befallen the area. He felt they had walked into the pits of hell and he was probably not too far off from the truth.

"I've gotta bad feelin' about this." Ward said, communicating his usual ill feelings about the situation.

And as always, he prayed to the Almighty that he was wrong and that there return to the hangar bay and drop-ship would be uneventful. Though, that was a dream he could not fully imagine coming true. Though, it never hurt to dream, right? Wrong. And he knew it.
