Angie joined the marines of both platoons for breakfast the morning of the incursion mission but unlike some of her companions she was quiet and focused. For one, the young private didn't know these people and she decided to use the 30 minutes they had before heading off to observe and learn a little about them. There hadn't been time to make any friends or connections for that matter, not yet anyway but she had a feeling the mission would change that pretty quickly...for some anyway. Roberts was clearly more outgoing than Angie but she wasn't really a people's person.
Not most of the time anyway. Angie had her moments.
She finished her meal like she started...slowly and quietly. For those who didn't know her it could look like she wasn't paying attention to the 'world' around her or she didn't want to mingle which was far from the truth. She just did things on her own time. The medic had shifted her gaze discreetly around the table throughout the meal and studied the marines faces and actions as they chatted. The different personalities fascinated her more than she would like to admit. After breakfast, Angie checked on her gear to make sure she was brining everything she needed and stepped outside the mess tent to join the rest of her platoon.
Angie looked from Williams to the Bojan and bit her lower lip lightly. Praying wasn't really her thing, not these days anyway. She stepped back a little then and found herself standing near one of the members of the Delta Dogs. Angie offered the man a small smile and held out a hand to him. "Angie Hawkins...medic.""Ready Bojan" He said, he pulled out his own cross and gave it a kiss before crossing himself, and he had an idea. "Hey Bojan you think it'd be alright if we all got together and said a prayer together?" He asked.

Maybe it was time to mingle or try anyway.
