Re: Turn 4. Down in the Valley

Mac took point for 3rd squad as they began their push on the left flank and switched his scope back to Thermal IR and swept the jungle ahead of them for hostiles while he made measured steps and used the foliage and natural cover to keep his push quiet and stealthy.

Re: Turn 4. Down in the Valley

Mac sees nothing but flitting birds and regular wildlife behind them and up in the trees. He doesn't lower his sniper rifle and switches his scope's sensor to EM to highlight artificial power sources against the forest. Again turning in a slow circle to sweep his scope over the area aroind his posit...

Is there such a thing as a tazer knife?

Re: Turn 4. Down in the Valley

Mac carefully scanned the forest with his scope's thermal sensor from his position behind cover of the tree he was using. He pivoted on the balls of his feet to scan behind and above his squad's position to their rear. All the action had them using tunnel vision to what was on their front and on a h...

Re: Post Gateway Mission Earth

The alleged "demo guy" will be fixing his training points if he survives this campaign and earns some training points. I had his stats at Professional and had gun combat suffering at common or something. Later revisions changed that and I didn't realize Morse had same skill aptitude then which I fin...

Re: Equipment Questions

Morse HAS to get a grenade launcher built into his shiny new leg, or a shotgun. For those umm...pesky colonial bar brawls... Yes. Foot drops off and BOOM...smoking hole in some bastard.

Re: Turn 4. Down in the Valley

MacGreggor clicked his scope to thermal imaging and scanned the trees and overgrowth for any signs of the Rebel troops supposed to be there. As he panned his rifle about he was picking up the laid out explosive charges he'd assembled with his free hand, his strength giving him the grip to single han...

Re: Turn 4. Down in the Valley

"Does anyone have a range/bearing on either the Sentry Guns or any of the enemy? If so; please feed that info to all o. us. I'm gonna try to damage/alter the Sentry Guns with some fire and a grenade. Everyone keep low". MacGreggor set the last "party favor" next to him and took up his sniper rifle ...

Re: Turn 4. Down in the Valley

MacGreggor heard the warning and quietly and slowly took off his frame pack and laid it beside him as he stayed prone and crawled on his stomach into cover behind an old fallen tree, dragging his pack with him. He got to work on a simple remote charge with a detonator, he fixed the charge to a fist ...

Re: Sentry Guns question....and trees!

As for origins, I'm a Texan and proud of that... Might be why I like Morse's swagger so much.

Sentry guns pointed at us is.....bad. Now I wish I had that rocket launcher. Might get fancy with large rocks and explosives... Or tall trees and the same... Anyone got ideas?

Re: Turn 4. Down in the Valley

MacGreggor gave one subtle nod and chambered a new round as he stepped to his left in a slow creep, his eyes looking up into the trees and watching his foot placement as he transverses further on the Sep's left flank. He keeps to the high grass and pauses to listen in a grouping of bushes. He kept h...

Re: Turn 4. Down in the Valley

MacGreggor followed closely on Dirk's left as 3rd Squad flanked left around the enemy position. He periodically checked range through his sniper scope and observed the flashes from the Sep position. The heavy underbrush proved an impediment for a good line of sight but the Rifle's targeting computer...
